Frequently Asked Questions

Q. What kinds of customs do you accept? What imagery do you prefer/not prefer?

A. Custom ideas I'd generally be interested include:

✰ My style of spiky/organic/cybersigilism (whatever you want to call it) will always be my number 1 preference!

✰ Various skulls in my style

✰ Script

✰ Manga panels/anime screen caps sprinkled in are always fun :)

Customs I'll turn down:

✰ Art made by another artist or requests to try and mimic another artists style

✰ Florals/plants

✰ Animals

✰ Full color

✰ Anything vastly different than my art style that I feel is outside my skill set

Q. Are there any placements you don't tattoo?

A.  I do not tattoo sides/front of the neck, feet, or genitals (or if you're really set on that placement you better be ready to persuade me with a ridiculous amount of money hehe)

Q. Do you offer touch ups?

A. Yes! Your first touch up is free, and I recommend you touch it up sooner than later so it can all age together nicely. If you think you'll get another tattoo from me in the somewhat near future, I'd also prefer you get your touch up at the same time as your new tattoo to save resources. If you'd like additional touch ups, it will be $50 each time. Touch ups can be booked through my form.

Q. Do you do cover ups?

A. Since my style is very fine line with very little black fill, it doesn't really make for a good cover up. I do however do blastovers, where we can go over a pre-existing tattoo with a new design, partially covering it but also leaving parts of your old tattoo visible. I love the look of tattoos being layered, and if that's also something you'd be into then feel free to hit me up! :)

Q. How should I prepare for my appointment?

A. Many people don't realize how much easier it makes my job if you are well prepared for your appointment!

✰ Come to your appointment well rested, hydrated and well fed.

✰ In the weeks/days leading up to your appointment, moisturize the area once a day or so, and if you're able to exfoliate it once that would be amazing!

✰ Keep you skin safe from the sun, and avoid getting any cuts or bruises in the area. If you show up with a sunburn or otherwise damaged skin, you will be sent home!

✰ Do not consume any alcohol, ibuprofren, or other blood thinners at least 24hrs before your appointment. You should also avoid consuming them in the first 48hrs after your appointment for the best results.

✰ If you are on Accutane or a similar Isotretinoin, you cannot get tattooed unless you've been off it for 9 months-1 year. Consult with your doctor if you're on this type of medication to ensure it's okay to get tattooed, or if you are on any other medication and want to be sure! It never hurts to ask!

✰ Bring water and snacks to your appointment, and if you want/need distraction then feel free to bring headphones, a book, switch, or whatever else you'd like to pass the time!

✰ Dress appropriately for the placement you're getting to allow easy access to the area; if you need ideas you can ask me beforehand! It is possible that ink could splatter during the process, so please wear dark clothing andor clothing you don't mind getting stained. Ink is very hard to wash out.

Q. Will you tattoo a minor? Even if I get a physician's approval?

A. No and no!

Q. Can I bring a guest?

A. You may bring one guest, but please do not invite more so we don’t overcrowd the shop.

Q. Can I use numbing cream?

A. I generally don't recommend it and prefer you don't, but you definitely can use it if you'd like! Just be aware that it could affect the tattooing process and healing process, and most of my tattoos will take longer than the effects will last. You also need to apply it early enough so that it's ready to be removed by the time your appointment starts.

Q. Do I need to tip?

A. Tipping is not required but it's always appreciated! (ᴗ͈ˬᴗ͈)

Q. Can I commission you for a tattoo design to get it tattooed by someone else?

A. Currently I am not selling designs, and I ask that you do not take my designs to be copied by someone else!

Q. Will you come to guest in XXX?

A. At this time I plan to guest in only a few cities, as it is difficult for me to travel around often, but possibly in the future I will expand to more places. Keep an eye out on my instagram for announcements on upcoming guest spots!
